Tiffany Lam

Position Title
Lab Manager

Bio
I graduated from UC Davis in 2023 with a B.S. in human development and minors in psychology and religious studies. My research experience began in undergrad while I worked as an animal technician in a vivarium here on campus for 2 years. I've worked with multiple species including transgenic mice, rats, California deer mice (peromyscus), prairie voles, short-tailed opossums, and seahorses. After graduation, I worked as a junior specialist here in Bales Lab for a year and have most recently taken over as the new lab manager for the seahorse and vole (seavole) lab.
I'm very interested in the mechanisms of pair bonding, the neurobiology of social and sexual relationships, and parenting behaviors. Outside of the lab, I love to cook, discover new places to eat in the Sac area, go to concerts and Kings games (LTB!), lift weights, and advocate for causes I care about, such as women's reproductive rights, trans rights, and a free Palestine.
If you're ever curious about how to get started in research, how to get involved in our lab, or if you have any general questions about campus resources here at UC Davis, you can reach me at ttllam@ucdavis.edu.
